Mom comforts fussy baby

Postpartum Assistance

Some moms may need a large village, while others may just need a few people to lean on. Either way, it's okay to ask for help. PLEASE ASK! It is very important that you talk about how you feel and say what your real needs are, so we can address them, take care of what we can so I feel more supported to look after the little one that you've just gave birth.

We will provide all the following support and beyond...

- Assistance with daily routine, take care of household chores, cook;

- Stay with other children and give you some time off - a space to breathe;

- Look after baby while you take a longer shower, go out for a fresh air, or simply have a cup of coffee/tea without having to sort the day out or be so overwhelmed;

Someone to just mind you and hold some space, so you can simply eat warm food, made with love by who cares about you. Maybe take a little rest while someone takes care of bub. Or be listened, have your feelings and emotions validated, feel nurtured and supported.

By receiving the right support, you will essentially become more confident and build more strength, especially when facing those challenging days. You might be able to move forward with more ease and embrace the idea that, you truly deserve a break as a mother, woman and being!

I believe that this is how we should be treated when we have just given birth, in such a vulnerable time, where feelings and hormones play a massive role. Every new mother needs are different and unic, so, one of the keys to navigate this time more positively is, having a postpartum support network.

Of course not everyone can receive sore of after birth support, so if you don't have a strong network support but can hire some, gift yourself with that or ask this "service" as a postpartum gift. We don't need so many "things" but presence, connection and a true support.

Mother’s Help

Mom Relaxing with Her Little Son

This one is a bit of it everything, no limited to the postpartum period but more about the mother's daily routine, needs and requirements.

A Mother’s Helper usually is focused on supporting a stay at home parent with the primary role of lending a second set of hands, who can be a bit younger, less experienced nanny but aims to address the mother's needs and requests.

Basically visits will be organized at times that suit you (by arrangement):

- Basic Support: 9 hour package lasting 3 hours each visit.

- Full Assistance: package of 20 hours distributed over 5/6 visits (for families that have a limited support network and a more frequent assistance).

I hope this can bring you a little bit more of love, care and sense of belonging. I've been there and since I learned how to navigate motherhood, ask for help, be open to receive, connect with the right people and find tools to assist the trip.. it has become such an incredible healing journey so far.
